Textile Print Design Weekend Workshop — Create Your Own Fabric
Join designer Nicole Haddad, founder of Lobo Mau and professor of Surface Design, for an immersive weekend workshop in textile print design at her BOK studio.
In this small-group intensive (max 4 students), you’ll learn how to transform your original artwork into a seamless repeat pattern using Adobe Photoshop — the same techniques used in the fashion and home decor industries.
Over two sessions (Saturday + Sunday), you’ll develop your motifs, build a repeat, and leave with a print-ready file. Nicole will also guide you through fabric options and how to get your design professionally printed.
Perfect for: artists, designers, and creatives looking to turn their artwork into fabric.
What to bring:
- Original artwork (drawings, paintings, or digital files)
- Laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed (or a free trial)
Schedule:
Saturday, April 18th + Sunday, April 19th: 1:00-3:00pm (3 hours each day)
Location: BOK Building, Suite 501 (1901 S. 9th Street, Philadelphia)
Note: Fabric printing is optional and not included in the workshop price, but I can advise on sending out your print for printing.
